No. PCA offers a comprehensive backbone program where we provide essential structure and tools for homeschool families to then implement deeper study throughout the week. Parents will teach their own math and reading curriculum at home.

While many of the member families have been homeschooling together for many years, we formally organized as a co-op in 2019 and our inaugural year was for the 2019-2020 school year.

Beginning with the 2022-2023 school year we will offer Pre-School through Freshman High School programs. As our community grows, we desire to offer classes through all High School grades.
We meet together one day per week on Wednesday's for 28 weeks throughout the school year. On Academy day we provide instruction for our students in basic classical learning as well as model for parents on how to continue that instruction at home. This time is also used to provide hands-on activities and other social interactions that are best done in community.
Yes. We have a paid child care (0-3yrs) and Pre-School (4-5yrs).
PCA is not a drop-off program. As a homeschool co-op it is imperative for our week-to-week operations to have the full participation of our member families and each family is required to have at least one parent present on campus during Academy Day.
PCA is not a short term program. Our curriculum is designed for the long term and will benefit those who intend to homeschool through high school.
We choose a blend of Classical and Charlotte-Mason approach to Christian curricula to introduce our students to a wide range of topics. This includes memory work, fine arts, science, writing, and grammar. We also provide a morning time routine with other recommended resources to help families facilitate the material at home. Yes. Prescott Classical Academy has in place procedures to help ensure the safety of all children and adults participating in our organization. The guidelines in this policy address specifically those procedures which are designed to prevent physical, emotional and sexual abuse; molestation, and misconduct and the procedures for reporting such incidents. All parents who will attend more than three
Academy Days in one year are required to have a background check.
